Diane Lee

Diane Lee

Owner and Founder

Diane opened Bath Yoga Studio, ten years after starting her journey as a yoga teacher. She still leads group classes at the studio as well as being a Yoga Alliance Senior Teacher for her 200-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training course for The Academy for Yoga Training.

She has trained with some of the world’s leading yoga teachers, including Ana Forrest, Shiva Rea and David Swenson. She is also a fully accredited Yoga Sports Coach, and has worked with Mark Webber as well as professional footballers, swimmers, triathletes and track and field athletes.

Aimée Owen

My style of teaching is very much rooted in the philosophy of yoga. I teach
intuitively and from my heart. The aim of my classes is to create a safe
space for individuals to find and step into their most authentic and
glorious Self. My flows tend to incorporate free movement, pranayama
practices, mantras and meditation to help connect body mind and soul.

I follow a yogic lifestyle and believe that yoga is both an on and off the
mat practice. I love sharing this beautiful and sacred practice with others
and can’t wait to see you on the mat. Om shanti shanti Om.

Ashleigh Faint

After practicing yoga for a number of years, Ashleigh recently completed her 200hr Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and 40hr Yin yoga Teacher Training with the Academy for Yoga Training. Her passion is to help guide and connect people back to their bodies, into the moment, and encourages self awareness & empowerment, with either dynamic, flowing classes or a more gentle, yin like style.

Dawn Abercromby

Dawn has had an ongoing relationship with yoga for over 30 years. Her interest was intensified in 2011 after attending Diane Lee’s Yoga classes which led to Dawn training as a teacher in the first cohort of the Academy for Yoga Training, Bath.

Dawn encourages her students to deepen an understanding of their own unique bodies through heightening awareness of how the body feels, making subtle adjustments, so that a pose feels right and focusing attention on the breath.

Her classes balance the demands of 21st Century living both physically and mindfully and are accessible to all. She has a particular interest in Yin Yoga and enjoys both teaching Yin and bringing elements of this practice into her other classes.

Georgie Hare

Georgie is a fully YAI qualified and insured yoga instructor as well as a professional dancer. Having studied yoga for over 5 years, Georgie swears by the life changing benefits of a regular practise, which teaches us to listen to our bodies and self-reflect.

You can find her teaching in established yoga studios in Bath. Expect her classes to work up a burn, encouraged by good tunes, focused on increasing strength in the middle, with a deep restorative stretch at the end. Ideal for those who have a basic understanding of yoga and want to progress their abilities with a slight challenge, or perhaps for the more experienced student who wants to enjoy a flow with various options for more challenging variations.

Regardless of this, all levels are welcome for good vibes and personal exploration, without judgement.

Julie Hegarty

Julie Hegarty

My love of Yoga began in 2012. After moving across the country, finding a new home and school for my boys and recovering from a serious illness I was exhausted, stressed, and I was down but not out. I needed to heal.

I found a class in the centre of Bath, just once a week to start with and I began to practice Yoga with Diane Lee. I rapidly started to feel the health benefits. Each class helped me to grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. So much so, it inspired me to train to become a teacher and I competed the Yoga Alliance certified ‘Academy For Yoga Training’ Hatha Yoga 200hr course in September 2018.

She is passionate about sharing the amazing gift of yoga with others, helping them feel the benefits she has experienced from practice.

Mirella Lamarina

Mirella Lamarina

I am an enthusiastic and outgoing person who has always enjoyed learning and improving my life and the life of those around me. Discovering the practice of yoga 8 years ago has changed my approach to life and situations completely.

Studying the depths of the practice in India has been the best experience of my whole life (after giving birth to my daughter Penelope of course 🙂 )

I have qualified in Ashtanga but I love mixing the practice up with other poses too to keep my classes fresh and innovative. I love what I do and I love passing it on to my students! There is so much to learn from each other in every class.

Olivia Core

Yoga has always been a part of my adult life, although since moving from London to Frome in early 2020, it has become my way of life. I have recently qualified as a 200hour Hatha Yoga Teacher under the Academy for Yoga Training.

I am also an experienced oncology and palliative care physiotherapist and lymphoedema practitioner working at Dorothy House Hospice. I use my knowledge of the human body and skills as a physiotherapist to guide my teaching and practice.

My biggest passion is to promote Yoga for all, no matter your age or ability. I love working with people and finding the potential in everyone.

Olivia Shone

Olivia was a keen sportswoman for years and ten years ago discovered the additional wellbeing and spiritual benefits of practising yoga when her family went through a traumatic time.  She is wholehearted in her desire to make yoga a practice for the mind and soul as well as the body.  She brings her counselling dip and two MA’s related to spirituality to add depth to the yoga experience.

She has also taught meditation for 6 years.

She is Yoga Alliance accredited, 200 YTT and enjoys the focus and stillness of Hatha yoga.
